Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information DualPost Synergy accesses and how it is used when you connect your YouTube and TikTok accounts to upload videos.
Information We Access
When you connect your accounts, DualPost Synergy requests OAuth access tokens from Google (YouTube) and TikTok. These tokens are:
- Stored only in your browser's localStorage — cleared when you disconnect your account or clear your browser data
- Never transmitted to any server other than Google's and TikTok's own APIs
- Never logged, saved to a database, or shared with third parties
The only server-side component used by DualPost Synergy (a Cloudflare Worker) handles OAuth token exchange, token refresh, and proxies certain API calls (such as fetching channel info) on behalf of your browser. It does not log or retain any tokens or personal data.
Before uploading, DualPost Synergy fetches the following information from each connected account solely to display locally within the app interface:
- YouTube: Channel name, username, and profile thumbnail — displayed locally within the app only. This information is never shared publicly, disclosed to other users, or transmitted to any server, database, or third party.
- TikTok: Account nickname, username, avatar, available privacy levels, and interaction settings — displayed locally within the app only to populate upload options. This information is never shared publicly, disclosed to other users, or transmitted to any server, database, or third party.
Video Content
Videos you upload are sent directly from your browser to YouTube's and TikTok's upload APIs using the access tokens you authorized. DualPost Synergy does not:
- Receive, copy, or store your video files
- Have access to your video content after upload
- Retain any metadata about your videos
Once uploaded, your videos are governed by YouTube's and TikTok's respective privacy policies and terms of service.
Third-Party Services
DualPost Synergy uses the following third-party APIs:
- YouTube Data API v3 — governed by Google's Privacy Policy and YouTube API Terms
- TikTok Content Posting API — governed by TikTok's Privacy Policy and TikTok API Terms
- Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from Google's servers; see Google's Privacy Policy
Cookies & Tracking
DualPost Synergy does not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, or any form of user tracking. There are no advertisements.
Children's Privacy
DualPost Synergy is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has used this service, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
DualPost Synergy does not share, sell, transfer, or disclose Google user data or TikTok user data to any third parties. Your data is used solely to facilitate uploading videos to YouTube and TikTok on your behalf.
The only external services your data passes through are Google's and TikTok's own APIs — governed by their respective privacy policies. No other parties receive your data.
Data Protection
DualPost Synergy protects your data through the following mechanisms:
- All OAuth tokens are stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage — they never leave your device except to authenticate with Google's and TikTok's own servers
- All communication between the app and external APIs is conducted over HTTPS/TLS encrypted connections
- Our Cloudflare Worker, which handles OAuth token exchange and API proxying, does not log, store, or retain any tokens or personal data
- No passwords, payment information, or sensitive personal data is ever collected
Data Retention and Deletion
DualPost Synergy retains no user data on any server or database. All data is stored locally in your browser only:
- OAuth tokens are stored in your browser's localStorage and are automatically cleared when you disconnect your account or clear your browser data
- You can delete your data at any time by disconnecting your YouTube and/or TikTok accounts using the disconnect button in the app sidebar, or by clearing your browser's localStorage for dualpost.app
- Revoking access to DualPost Synergy through your Google Account settings or TikTok's connected apps settings will immediately invalidate all associated tokens
Changes to This Policy
If this Privacy Policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of DualPost Synergy after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
