Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2025
Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information DualPost accesses and how it is used when you connect your YouTube and TikTok accounts to upload videos.
Information We Access
When you connect your accounts, DualPost requests OAuth access tokens from Google (YouTube) and TikTok. These tokens are:
- Stored only in your browser's sessionStorage — they are deleted when you close your browser tab
- Never transmitted to any server other than Google's and TikTok's own APIs
- Never logged, saved to a database, or shared with third parties
The only server-side component (a Cloudflare Worker) performs a one-time OAuth code exchange and does not log or retain any tokens or personal data.
Video Content
Videos you upload are sent directly from your browser to YouTube's and TikTok's upload APIs using the access tokens you authorized. DualPost does not:
- Receive, copy, or store your video files
- Have access to your video content after upload
- Retain any metadata about your videos
Once uploaded, your videos are governed by YouTube's and TikTok's respective privacy policies and terms of service.
Third-Party Services
DualPost uses the following third-party APIs:
- YouTube Data API v3 — governed by Google's Privacy Policy and YouTube API Terms
- TikTok Content Posting API — governed by TikTok's Privacy Policy and TikTok API Terms
- Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from Google's servers; see Google's Privacy Policy
Cookies & Tracking
DualPost does not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, or any form of user tracking. There are no advertisements.
Children's Privacy
DualPost is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has used this service, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Changes to This Policy
If this Privacy Policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of DualPost after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
